Russian Revolution

At the start of 1917 , the country was ready for revolution , growing rapidly , creating expanded social oppurtunities. They had political issues which was one of the problems leading to the Ruissian Revolution. The October revolution was led by Vladimir Lenin and was based upon Lenins writings on the idea of Karl Marx. On November 7, 1917 Bolsheviks leader Vladimir Lenin led his leftist revolutionaries in a revolt against the ineffective Provisional government. The confusion regarding Stalin's position on the issue stems from the fact that he , after Lenin's death in 1924 , successfully used Lenins argument, the argument that socialisms successes needs the workers of other countries to operate.

Mountains of the moon

The movie Mountains of the Moon was a very interesting movie. The europeans faced many hardships along their trip to africa. They traveled to the African villages and found themselves in a world of struggle and poverty. The Africans were startled and tried to kill them because they have never seen white people in their lives before. They traveled miles and miles with the Africans hoping to find freedom and justice. And they named Lake Victoria after the Queen because she was the Queen at that time. The Europeans had mnore technological success than the Africans because they are more matured and mild mannered. They had small handguns back then and in a span of 30-50 years they had machine guns and easily took over Africa and divided Africa among themselves
